I have 32 and a half years experience of being me and I work in IT 🙂

I’ve been really fortunate in my career to work for two rewarding organisations and with people whom I’ve learnt so much from. In my current role I lead a technical team focusing on end user computing, essentially everything our end users touch, from mobile phones, to thin clients, tablets, laptops, desktops and Citrix. I am lucky to have a great team and collectively we are a very successful unit.

My main passion is System Center Configuration Manager, a product I’ve been using now approx 8 years. My main focus being on OSD, application deployment, software updates and reporting.

Recently, I’m focusing more on Citrix technologies, starting to learn XenDesktop and looking at Citrix Cloud. With the help of my team we’ve successfully completed a Windows 10 pilot and started a phased deployment.

My other areas of interest include AppSense, Group Policy management, and everything Windows 10. I’m a user of Office 365 products and services and keen to utilise new technologies to improve mine and others working habits.

Outside of my work life I’m still very much a big geek, enjoying time spent working on my lab setups, or playing around with media centers, macs and any manner of home automation.
